Voices from the Veteran Community

Cyprus provided me a conducive leaning atmosphere and exposure to new things, including historic sightseeing. As a Liberian with the mindset of togetherness and growth, I accepted the call of the interim leadership headed by Ms. Kimberline A C Anna to serve on the Constitution Committee, where I was later appointed Secretary General. The work was approved by the body. I later contested as VPA and won on a white ballot, and my involvement with the student community intensified. Despite losing my father during my studies, the LSANC community stood by me like family. I completed my studies with a strong GPA. May God bless us all.

Studying abroad in Northern Cyprus was both enriching and challenging. The region’s culture and scenery promoted personal growth. Despite bureaucratic hurdles, the affordability and community experience made it worthwhile. My involvement with LSANC—especially as Veteran's Community Chair—allowed me to positively impact others. Near East University offered a nurturing environment where I made lasting friendships and unforgettable memories.

Cyprus offered a real-life experience of independence, professionalism, and resilience in the pursuit of education. Though I was only partially involved, I fully supported the LSANC initiatives. Despite economic challenges, the experience prepared me for understanding realistic goals and the value of accredited foreign education.
